Horizon Middle School is a Title I school where multiculturalism is not only recognized but also celebrated. The staff works as a team to nurture and develop the minds of our students, so they can become the critical thinkers and problem solvers in the global community. At Horizon, the focus goes beyond high-quality instruction in the classroom; the staff also pushes the students to become pillars in their community through programs like Best Buddies, athletics, and the arts. Parkway Middle School is proud of our robust Culinary Art Programs. Students experience hands on learning with meal planning, food preparation, and kitchen safety. Students also learn life skills and knowledge while earning industry certifications and high school credits. High school credits can also be earned in the areas of Spanish, French, biology, Algebra, Geometry, and Pre AP-World History. We are an AVID school where we are closing the learning gap by preparing students for college and careers.
